  • Horse Stance

    • Right foot steps out

  • Doward Block

    • First chamber arm is in crossed in front of the chin, second out straight by the belt knot

    • Block finishes in front of the body

    • Switch is timed well

  • Inside Block

    • The first chamber arm is flared to the side with fist near the ear, second is crossed in front of the chin

    • Block completely crosses the midline

    • Blocking fist is at or above nose level

    • Switch is timed well

  • Outside Block

    • Both hands are crossed in front the chin, with the blocking hand on the bottom

    • Elbows are stacked during the chamber

    • Block finishes in front of the shoulder

    • Fist is at shoulder height

  • Lead Side Kick

    • Pivot is present

    • A proper 90-degree chamber is demonstrated with knee in front of the belt knot

    • Blade or Heel is used during the kick
